Dave Grohl says that the Foo Fighters appeared again to music that they grew up on for the inspiration for his or her forthcoming studio album “Medication At Midnight”.
The frontman and former Nirvana drummer spoke with Radio.com concerning the upcoming effort and had this to say about what impressed the musical path, “While you look again in any respect the data we have made within the final 25 years, it is like ‘OK, we have completed the noisy punk rock crap… We have completed the sleepy acoustic stuff… We have completed the three and a half minute lengthy, enjoyable pop-rock track. Arduous rock, heavy stuff…
“What is the one factor we have not completed?’ I used to be like, ‘ we have not made our David Bowie’s ‘Let’s Dance’ document. We have not made the Stones’ ‘Tattoo You’ or like a Energy Station document.
“We have not made a rock band document that you may shake you are a** to.’ That is the music all of us grew up listening to. So, I believed, as a substitute of going backwards let’s do one thing we have not completed.” Try the complete interview here.
